The studies are clear — here’s what you need to know
Hey, Matt Cook here, and did you know that low cholesterol can be deadlier than high cholesterol?
It’s true — low cholesterol can trigger the deadliest kind of stroke, called a “massive stroke”…
And it happens when blood vessels in your brain are so weak, they burst open.
Even moderately low cholesterol levels can raise your risk of these strokes, as well as cancer and heart disease.
So what’s considered too low as far as cholesterol goes?
Well in this huge study involving people from all over the world, the data shows that 220 is ideal for most men:
Another study found that “…cholesterol levels less than 160 mg/dL were associated with a twofold increase in risk of death…
…from cancer of the liver and pancreas; digestive diseases, particularly hepatic cirrhosis; suicide; and alcohol dependence syndrome…”
Yet many doctors prefer men to have cholesterol levels less than 160…
And they recommend statins if it gets past 200!
And it’s Big Pharma that’s steering doctors wrong… they make a lot of money selling statins…
But now you know the truth about cholesterol and why raising cholesterol may add decades to your life.
Here’s what I’m doing to make sure my cholesterol doesn’t get too low
Warmly,
–Matt Cook
